Students broke into groups to learn about some of the very first Native American tribes to live in Wisconsin. They presented some information to the class on Friday.

This week we discussed Wisconsin history, specially related to Native Americans. Students learned about some of the first people to live in what is now Wisconsin, and how they have had to adapt their way of life over the years.

Students gave brief presentations on the different regions of Wisconsin this week. We also discussed more map skills, as well as the history of Wisconsin and how that has affected the present day Wisconsin.

This week we discussed climate change, specifically looking at ways climate change has and is affecting Wisconsin.

We had a field trip to the Ice Age Trail this week! On Monday, our guide, Pete, came to our school to talk about the trail and what to look and expect while sauntering on the trail. On Thursday, we were able to walk a small portion of the trail and learn about it first hand!
